Online Advertising Mistakes ? 3 Donts For Newbies – Internet-Marketing

Online Advertising Mistakes ? 3 Donts For Newbies

Are you new to Network Marketing? If you are, then PLEASE avoid these mistakes when you promote your business opportunity!Mistake#1. SpammingSPAM: Sending People Annoying MessagesYes, you got the point! People hate spams simply because they are annoying! They receive emails from someone they don't expect. So stop making a list of those email addresses from Newsgroups or Free Ads Classifieds or wherever! It's just not going to work that way to promote your business.Spamming on the contrary could put your business at risk. Since almost all of the internet users nowadays just can't put up with it, here's some predictions of what they could do to ruin your business. If you join an affiliate program or perhaps you are a representative of a certain company, they could just send an email to that company, informing them that they are receiving spams from you. Generally, they have zero tolerance for spamming and will eliminate you without warning.Or, they also can make a report on you to your Web Host or ISP. How about that?!Mistake #2. Reach un-targeted peopleI understand that you are excited to drive a great quantity of visitors to your website. Yes... that's what they told you to do, right? The more visits to your website, the greater the possibilities of sign-ups... But, the more important thing is that those visitors should be targeted people! You don't need just 'visitors', you need 'targeted visitors' to your site! That's why you should be wise in advertising, because you have to decide what kind of people you want to reach. For instance, if you join a Network Marketing program that needs big investments, you don't want to place an ad in Free Ads Classifieds! Why? You'll probably have many visitors to your site, but NO sign-ups - Why? Because they can't afford it! Most of them who read ads in Free Ads Classifieds are those who are hunting for FREE opportunities? So, make sure your advertising reaches targeted people!Mistake#3. Promote in Newsgroups or Mailing Lists that prohibit any kind of advertismentThis is considered to be spamming also! So, if you are planning to advertise in Newsgroups, Forums, or Mailing Lists, make sure that they allow advertisements - Study the terms of agreement first!Well, that's it!Don't do these 3 mistakes and you will save a lot of your time and efforts!Copyright 2005 Farid Aziz.Farid Aziz is a full-time Internet Marketer. How To Avoid The 3 Destructive Traits Of Traditional Gambling / Lottery Systems-Gambling

How To Avoid The 3 Destructive Traits Of Traditional Gambling / Lottery Systems

There is over $120,000,000,000 spent on lottery systems along across the US and around the world. Yes, that's one hundred and twenty Billion on just lotteries not to mention the billions spent on other gambling systems.Massive jackpots are dangled in front of players but the only ones who truly win in most gambling/lottery systems are those operating them because of 3 dangerous characteristics. Let's review them:1.) Odds stacked against the playersTraditional gambling/lottery systems only win when the player loses. They continue to generate massive amounts of front-end profits and heavily stack the odds against the players to minimal back-end payouts are necessary. If you're going to gamble, at least do a little research and determine which of the systems provide you with the best chance of winning and learn everything you can about ways to increase your odds.2.) Addicted to more chances to winSince the odds are stacked against you winning, a psychological trigger gets set off in your brain that makes you "want" to find more chances to win. This burning desire to seek more and more chances to win is a natural human reaction. It's a true addiction with feeling the "winning" sensation. People will actually pay $1,000, win $100 and feel "good" because they won something without realizing they actually lost money. In traditional gambling/lottery systems the only way to quench this desire to win is to get more chances to win which means? spend more money. Traditional systems require you to pay for each chance to win.At least research the systems and find the one that offers you the most chances to win for each entry you purchase. Give yourself the best chance to win with the least money spent.3.) Lack of informationThere's a common joke that says, "Gambling is a tax on the stupid." Gambling or playing the lottery is not "stupid" ? it does serve as entertainment value. But it does punish the uneducated. If you don't research the odds of winning and find the games that provide you the best chance of winning, then you're more likely to throw your money away than if you do some research. More importantly, if you don't know what to do with the money you do win then you're even more likely to end up in a worse financial situation than before you started playing.Make sure you spend time up front finding out as much as you can about the games you're considering playing. Compare the odds and your chances of actually winning a cash prize. Also, educate yourself about your own personal budget and set a limit on the amount you're willing to lose in pursuit of "entertainment".Have fun? play smart!Scott Britner blended his background in programming and analysis with a little creativity and a lot of focus on the customer to develop the unique WeeklyWinning.com lottery system. Free Ebook Offer: The Story of America: Discovery - Article 3

Quite a lot happened in Europe between 1002AD, when the Vikings hurriedly packed their longships and retreated back to the colder climes of Greenland, and 1492AD, when the Spanish caravels, with Columbus so confident at the helm, accidentally stumbled across the forgotten continent. The period, collectively known as the Renaissance, saw a general revival of interest in intellectual thought. Science was studied, with fresh experiments conducted and new conclusions drawn, laws were introduced to control the growing populations and to create more stable societies, medicines were used to cure illness and prolong life, astonomers peered farther into the unknown universe, while geographers mapped and plotted the earth. All of these advances were aided by the invention of the movable type and a working printing press, which for the first time made books and maps easy to produce and allowed knowledge to be readily available to all. While Spain united to drive out the Moors and the other major European countries generally moved closer to becoming nation states, so the merchants also started to trade with far-off places and in particular with the other main hubbub of civilization, namely the East (principally China, India and Persia). This trade brought all sorts of attractive items into daily use and it wasn't long before Europe started to thrive on this vital commerce, though events were suddenly brought to a premature halt by the rise of the Muslems in the Middle East who moved to blockade the profitable trade routes. When Constantinople, the established base of the Christian Byzantium Empire, finally fell to the forces of the Ottaman Turks in 1453, the trade virtually dried up. The merchants were doomed and a continent that had become more or less dependant on this trade suddenly felt the need to find an alternative route to regain access to this lucrative market. At that time Portugal was the leading maritime nation in Europe, holding vital access to the Atlantic Ocean, the unknown frontier and as a few believed the real key to access the eastern markets. As they started to explore into this ocean they first found tiny chains of islands - Madeira, the Canary Islands, the Azores and the Cape Verde Islands - but they then turned their ships southwards to chart the continent of Africa. The Atlantic was still too big, too unknown, and they decided to play it safe and stick to the coastline. Their plan was to try and get around the tip of Africa and then to access Asia across the Indian Ocean. This was a safe route, making sense on the maps of the time, as to their knowledge the American continent quite simply did not exist. How things were going to change! This excerpt is taken from the third chapter of Discovery - The Story of America by Anthony Treasure.
