Your Money Is Still In Your List - Build It!

You are a home business entrepreneur. You have just built a fantastic website, acquired a host of good products but your advertising budget is small. How do you go about enticing people to your website? I know exactly how you feel because, like lots of small home business entrepreneurs, I have been right where you are now.Even if you've only been marketing on the Internet for a short time, I'm sure you've heard the saying, "the money is in the list". A good email opt-in list ? a list you build yourself, is worth its weigh in gold. It is the difference between being wildly successful and falling into the deep black hole of cyberspace. So how you go about building an opt-in list without much money? There are several ways to go about capturing leads cheaply or for free. The most common method is to offer a free newsletter on your site. People who surf the web surf do so mainly for information. Giving them what they want, works. Offer free information as an incentive to join your list. Free works! Don't' offer something that is available everywhere you turn on the Internet. Offer something of value ? a mind-blowing free report, an e-book packed with great information or an awesome free gift. There are numerous free list-building programs that offer ways you can build your list. The List Builder's Club, The List Machine, ListDotCom and Opportunity.com are just a few of the good ones available. Sign up with one or all of them and see if they are what you are looking for. If they are not, there is no need to waste time with them.Because of the spam factor, buying leads does not work as well as it used to but it is still quite effective. It just takes more leads to get the desired response. Right now lead companies are falling over themselves to sell single opt-in leads cheaper than their competitors. Some companies are literally giving them away free for a limited time at the rate of 2,000 per day. Sign up with one of these companies and find an autoresponder service still willing to allow you to import purchased leads. It is a numbers game. Let's say you only get 50 ? 100 sign-ups for your newsletter out of each 2,000, it is still not a bad deal. That is 1,500 ? 3,000 additions to your list each month at a fraction of what it would cost to buy double opt-in leads. It is then up to you to build a relationship with the ones who have agreed to opt-in to your list.Traffic Exchanges are great places for getting leads. Don't expect a huge number of direct signups for your programs from them. Most of the people surfing the Traffic Exchanges are advertising their products or sites. They are not looking for programs to join.
The best way I've found to work the Traffic Exchanges, is to join a few lead generation programs of your choice and advertise them on the Traffic Exchanges. The people surfing the Traffic Exchanges who are not getting results are open to offers from new recruiting programs.Run contests on your website and have people subscribe to your newsletter as a requirement of entry. If your newsletter is any good they will continue to receive it even after the contest is over.A fantastic list building method that requires no expenditure is writing articles. Write articles and submit them to web sites, e-zines and other places on the Internet. E-zine publishers are constantly looking for fresh content so articles will always be in demand. "I can't write"! Sure you can! If it means the difference between starvation and making money, you discover just how well you can write. Get out your notepad and sit at your computer with the TV and radio off and get something on the page. Everything improves with practice and your writing will too. Try it. You have nothing to loose and you may find you are a fantastic writer. Write about something you know are familiar with or are an expert on. If you blatantly advertise your products in your article, it will not be accepted. You can advertise your website or your expertise in your Home Business in the resource box at the end of your article.I have found that it is best to implement several methods to build your list quickly. Whatever method you use, remember that for email marketing to be effective it must be targeted. Your prospective customers must be interested in your product or service.List building is not a get rich quick method but it is still extremely effective. It takes time to build a responsive email list and it may be several months before it becomes the moneymaker you anticipate. With this in mind plan a really good lead building strategy from the outset and you should gradually see your profits soar. Your money is still in your list.Janice Sharman currently runs the Sure Profits Center.

Build the Snowball and It Will Run

Setting up your own online business can seem extremely daunting. Whether you've
already got a business and want to sell products and services online or want to start
from scratch with a new business, there is a great deal to think about. However, despite the economic doom and gloom, there is real money to be made
from web-based businesses. But where do you begin? If you're starting from scratch, the first thing you need to decide is what you're
going to sell and who you want to sell it to. The Web is a global marketplace, but
that doesn't mean your business has to be international. Some of the most
successful internet businesses target tight niches. When making the decision about
what type of business to start you'll need to research the types of products and
services that are in demand and the competition for supplying those to customers.
The ratio of demand to supply will give you an idea of the likely profitability of any
business idea. After all, there's no point in starting a business that's not going to
make a profit, is there? If you have expertise in a particular subject or area, then that's a great place to
start. If there's a subject you're passionate about then start there. Focus on what
you can offer that's unique. It's much better to offer something unique in a small
niche market than try and compete with a thousand other companies in a huge
market. Remember the bigger the market the more competitors you'll have. And on
the Web, the chances are high that they'll all know more than you about the
techniques associated with marketing and selling on the internet. If you've already got an offline business that you want to promote on the Web, or
have products or services that you want to sell on the internet, then you're a good
part of the way there. However, whether you've already got a business or have a good idea for starting
one, there's a great deal to do to be successful on the Web. You have to come up
with a domain name and register it, build a website (or get someone to build it for
you), and find someone to host it. If you want to sell products or services directly
from your site, you'll need to build-in online shopping facilities, and if you want to
accept credit cards, you'll need a merchant account .Then there's the promotion. It's all very well having a website out there in cyber
space, but if no-one knows it's there, you won't get any customers. So you have to
promote it, on and off-line.How do you get visitors and how do you ensure they are in your target market? The
most cost-effective way of generating targeted traffic on the Web is by ranking
highly in search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and MSN for keywords related to
your business. Unfortunately there are thousands of Web marketing professionals
out there who are intent on making sure their sites rank highly, meaning that the
chance of a relative newcomer getting a top 30 ranking in a search engine is small.
Without a ranking in the top thirty on the major search engines you might as well be
invisible. Finally, and most importantly, once you've got traffic, how do you convert a
reasonable percentage of it into income? How do you build the kind of trust and
credibility online that keeps visitors coming back and spending money?Phew! If you weren't daunted before, you will be by now. Fortunately, none of the
problems outlined above is insurmountable. It's hard work sure, but very rewarding.
And you don't have to do all the work yourself, there are plenty of solutions which
will do lots of the hard work for you, like the one I use.The important thing, as with any project, is to start and then to keep going. Imagine
your website as a snowball running down a hill. It starts off very small and has no
momentum. It takes hard work to roll it and help it grow, but once it reaches critical
mass it gains a momentum of its own, starts to roll by itself and grows
exponentially very quickly. Your web business is that snowball.Kenny Hemphill is a website owner and marketer. His current http://www.the-hdtv-tuner.com/about-this-site.html- snowball is gaining
mementum fast.

How To Build A Waterfall

The number one, most asked question that I receive about water features is "How do I build a waterfall?"The first advice I give is to visit natural waterfalls or at least look at photos. Don't try to memorize just how they look...just get a general idea how the water flows around and over the rocks. The design of your falls will depend on topography, pump and pipe size, length of water flow from pump to falls, pond size and possibly other site-specific factors. If your pond is just 4' x 6', you certainly don't want a large, three foot wide falls - keep the elements of your water feature in scale. One of the most common mistakes results from the desire for a tall waterfall at a level building site...large amounts of soil are imported to build the falls up to a three or four foot height. Yes, you will achieve a dramatic waterfall, but the total effect will look more like an out of place volcano. A falls of just two feet will produce a very satisfactory effect both visually and audibly. On a level site, with an "average" size pond of 11' x 16', the amount of soil needed to surround the biological filter and create the berm is just about equal to the amount of soil excavated from the pond...it works out quite well. To further enhance or enlarge the berm, you may want to import a little more soil, large boulders or other features. If you are working on a slope, you have the option of placing the biological filter (waterfall source) uphill from the pond and creating a series of cascading waterfalls. This is how I built my falls, described in the photo essay here: http://clearwaterlandscapes.com/pondphotos.htmIt was definitely an exercise in visualization to determine exactly how the water would flow down the falls. I made a slight underestimation of the total flow and could have widened the falls somewhat, but the effect is very acceptable.Even on a level site, it's a good design strategy to place the falls six to eight feet from the pond. This will create a short stream to the pond.Be sure to use a wide EPDM rubber liner under the falls and/or stream...this will allow for twists and turns in the course of the water and also contain splashing. A ten foot wide stream liner is recommended. Underlayment under the falls and stream liners is usually not required. When your excavation is complete for the falls, and liner is in place, add your stone. Don't be in a hurry - try several (or many) combinations and visualize how the water will flow. When satisfied with your arrangement, use black waterfall foam to direct the water over the stone instead of under it. That is, stone that is directly in contact with the liner should sit on a bed of foam so the water goes around or over the stone instead of underneath it. Caution - the foam expands greatly...don't use too much!Though it requires some creativity and patience, building a waterfall is extremely satisfying. Though you should give some time to preliminary research, you'll learn most by actually building your water feature - just do it! You'll find that your water garden is the most relaxing and enjoyable part of your yard.About The AuthorVisit Our Site for Interactive Landscaping Solutions.Plan and Visualize Your New Landscape Online. You're an Essential Part of the Design Team!http://clearwaterlandscapes.comsupport@clearwaterlandscapes.com

3 Proven Ways To Build Self-Esteem

When someone thinks of a person with self-esteem most people think of someone who has a positive attitude. While someone who generally has self-esteem could have a positive attitude, this is not what I am referring to.Having self-esteem is when you have a high regard for yourself, when you value who you are. In other words, having self-esteem is when you have a strong belief and respect for yourself. If you find yourself down a lot and have a hard time feeling good, you may be dealing with low self-esteem. Below you will find 3 ways to build your self esteem.Give credit where credit is do: When you accomplish a particular task give yourself credit for doing something successfully. It may be something as small as thanking someone for something. That is a success because you acknowledge something that someone has done for you. So, give yourself credit for the things you do. I bet if you really thought about it, you do a lot of successful things throughout the day. Start giving yourself credit for that.Say good things to yourself: When you accidentally drop or spill something, what are the first words out of your mouth? If the words dummy, idiot, stupid, or any other negative words come out of your mouth, try not reacting to the situation. Take a deep breath and move on knowing we all have accidents. The point here is not to react to the situation. Give yourself a break, think good thoughts about yourself, and don't forget to laugh.Accept the good in you: Just like giving yourself credit for the success you have each day, acknowledge the things you know how to do well. There are things you can do better than anyone. If you gave it some thought you can come up with a number of things you do well. What are some of the things you do well? Think about it, and when you do, write them down. So, the next time you are feeling down go back to the list you made and accept the good in you.Building your self-esteem is going to help you take bigger risks and have a more fulfilling life. With a high self-esteem, you can accomplish anything. You will find yourself sticking with your goals, and taking on any challenge that comes your way. Building self-esteem does take time; however, anything that is going to help you live your life to the fullest is worth it. Try finding someone who can help you along the way, a friend, a mentor, or even a coach. You can do it, I know you can!Anthony Treas is a life coach, motivational speaker, mentor, and soon to be published author (Nov. 05'). Anthony provides mentor coaching by providing support that allows his clients to discover their full potential. For more information visit: Activate Your Potential Institute

How to Build a Shed plus articles and information on Landscaping-Gardening

How to Build a Shed

The easiest way to build a shed in the backyard is to make a trip to the
local Lowe's or other hardware shop to purchase a shed-building kit.Never
choose one from a picture in a brochure or from the Internet. When viewing
in person, you can check for important quality control details such as
thickness of timber, overlap structure of panels, type of wood, whether it
is pre-treated with a preservative and the quality of flooring. Thick
timber is longer lasting. An overlap structure on wall panels is important
to prevent water leakage. It is beneficial for the shed to have been
pre-treated with preservative, but in your upkeep you will still want to
treat it once a year. Flooring should be thick so that it does not give
with the weight of tools and equipment you want to store.Do not skimp on
size or quality, because in the long run, you will be happiest with a large,
lasting building. Before starting, make sure you have a level base on which to build the shed. Otherwise, the wall panels will not line up properly. Double check that
you have all necessary building tools for the particular shed-building kit;
you will not want to stop mid-project to purchase more tools. Find out if
you need permission to erect a small building on your property. Detail an
access route for getting large panels and other materials to the site for
the shed.To begin, make sure the land is dry. Excavate a place to put in a concrete
floor. If you choose to make the shed above ground, then wood boards are
acceptable. Follow instructions and proceed to screw all pieces together in
the pre-made holes. Run a frame sealing mastic around windows to prevent
weather damage. To insulate, either use glass fiber loft insulation or
expanded polystyrene slabs covered with wallboards. If the shed needs
electrical wiring, be sure to bury cables in the ground or run them high
overhead. Wires should never drag along the ground, wall or fence. Call a
professional electrician for assistance if you are not familiar with these
procedures. It is possible to build a shed without purchasing the kit. Keep in mind
that you are essentially building a box. Begin with the same flooring
process- either excavate for a concrete floor or use a wooden floor. A
simple shed can take the shape of a lean-to with one large slanted wall
nailed to three smaller side walls. If you feel confident in your building
abilities, then a more complicated shed would be a four-sided rectangular
shed with a pitched roof. To attach the roof, nail the slanted slabs of
wood to the upright walls. To finish the project, apply a preservative
treatment, and any insulation or electric wiring that is desired.Keith Kingston is a professional web publisher offering advice on garden sheds and outdoor storage sheds

Do You Build Or Buy? (Tips On Leadgeneration)

Every marketer needs leads, they are the lifeblood of your
online business. However not every marketer knows how to
effectively "work" their leads.Your mailinglist can be a goldmine if you know how to do
that! Here are a couple of tips that will help you build, manage
and "work" your list to its fullest potential.Building your list:Nowadays you can buy leads by the thousands if not millions
on the internet. Lead company's telling you their leads are
optin and unique. Well my friend nothing could be further
from the truth! The majority of these companies "cycle" their leads, as
they call it. This means that your leads will be used by
other people as well, making your chances of success slim.Besides this point, sending a bulkmaling to huge quantities
of so called optin leads will eventually result in
complaints and in the worst case you will be shutdown by
your isp. There is a better way to build your list. You can generate
your own leads easily by using a simple form on your
website or popup/under inviting people to join your
list/newsletter.The leads you generate this way will be very targetted and
of very high quality. You may not generate over a million
leads but its better to have a thousand high quality leads
then a million low quality leads wich only cause
complaints."Working" your list:Now that you are starting to generate your own leads lets
have a go of "working" them. This basically means following
up on them periodically with a newslettter and/or
information about your offer.I recommend using an autoresponder for this task as it will
put your business on autopilot and saves you a lot of work.Over time you will notice that people will send you emails
asking more information about your offer. When you reply to
these people be as personal as possible. Put yourself in
their positition, what would you want for an answer to a
specific question etc. You may want to offer them
additional help of some sort, this creates trust and trust
is very important in doing business online. This is basically what it comes down to in lead generation
and management. To your success!Erol ALiciErol Alici publishes "Home Based Business Success" an

Build Better Link Popularity with Syndicated Articles plus articles and information on Writing-Articles

Build Better Link Popularity with Syndicated Articles

There are many schools of thought on how to build strong backlinks to a Web site. Some webmasters build reciprocal links, while others register their site in many directories. Still others do both of those, and rent links as well. But one method used by a growing number of webmasters is that of building link popularity through the syndication of original articles. Syndicated articles are becoming increasingly popular because article syndication builds permanent links from many different, topically related, keyword rich pages. There are several steps one can take in order to ensure that an article is syndicated as much as possible, and that the links from those syndications are of the highest quality.1) Write High Quality ArticlesThe amount of syndication an article receives is directly proportional to the demand for that type of article. Higher quality articles will prove more valuable to webmasters looking to reprint articles. Perfect spelling and grammar are requisite in order to ensure the widest syndication possible. Webmasters will be more inclined to reprint well-researched and well-written articles. Most articles are not of the highest quality, so a higher quality article will stand out significantly.Articles should be more than simply a place to put a link in a resource box. The goal of article writing should be to make the article itself interesting. An interesting article can be syndicated on websites with high traffic and PageRank. Increasing article syndication will cause the link in the resource box to be copied by many Web sites. In addition to building more links with higher quality articles, webmasters will find that quality content articles will result in an immediate traffic increase to a site. An article that is appealing to readers will naturally attract a large readership. The more readers an article has, the more likely those readers are to click on the link in the resource box.2) Manually Submit to Related SitesAnother technique used by many webmasters to increase an article's syndication is to submit articles to related sites. The best syndications and links come from quality sites in a specific niche, not simply article banks. For example, there are many Web sites that will only accept business-related articles. Any webmaster of a business-related website looking to build link popularity should write an article concerning business and submit it to these sites. Potentially, other business sites could take note of a high quality business article and syndicate it on their sites (which are all related under the unique subject of business). Doing this will build topically related links which can improve a Web site's search engine rankings dramatically.3) Write a Compelling TitleArticles have to be interesting in order to get the readers to scroll down to the resource box, or inspire webmasters to reprint the article on their Web site. The best way to draw a wide variety of readers is to have a compelling title. Catchy titles and sometimes even controversial titles can draw more readers. Coupling a compelling title with a high quality article is an excellent way to attract readers specifically looking for articles to syndicate.Article topics should also be interesting. If a website is focused on a specific subject, an article about an interesting element of that subject will be syndicated more than a general article. For example, there may be hundreds of available articles about mortgage refinancing, but how many articles focus on ways financial advisors will try to manipulate someone seeking to refinance?4) Stay OrganizedTime should be taken when finding article sites to submit to. There are many Web sites that have large lists of article sites that accept submissions. A good technique is to submit articles to all of the article sites in a list and check later to see if those articles have been syndicated. Searching for the title of the article submitted in quotations on Google will show where exactly it has been reprinted. Backlink searches on MSN and Yahoo! can also be helpful. Building a solid list of verified article sites can help maximize article syndication and also time efficiency. Some article sites only accept submissions via e-mail. Some SEOs shy away from e-mailing articles because it is more time consuming and often involves the creation of a biography and picture submission. E-mail submission article sites however are often more inclined to only reprint articles of high quality, and thus these types of sites' articles are often widely syndicated.5) Write a Killer Resource BoxThe heart and soul of a syndicated article is its resource box. The anchor text and link destination of the links in the articles should be varied. Varying anchor text will help avoid penalties in search engine rankings and create higher-value links. Often changing the resource box after submitting to each site proves beneficial. An article about dogs with the anchor text "dogs" should be varied with anchor text like "puppies" for the other article submissions. Using technology such as latent semantic analysis, search engines will notice "dog" and "puppy" as related words, but will not penalize the site for having unnatural links (e.g., if all of the links used "dog" as anchor text). This same effect can be achieved by varying the link target. Linking the first half of the article submissions to page A, and the second half to page B will avoid penalties from search engines like Google. Articles are a proven way to get links, but if a new site suddenly acquires 100 links to the same place in a short time, search engines might penalize it.Article submission is a great way to get high quality links from topically related sites. The more effort and care given to an article that is submitted, the more syndication potential an article has. Compelling titles, high-quality content, and interesting topics will all improve the syndication of an article. Varying backlink text and destinations can also help avoid heavy penalties from search engines. Some SEOs believe that only traditional directory submissions and link swapping are effective methods of building links. I, however, am a firm believer in the power of a well-written article to deliver a large number of topically related links to any fledgling site.Scott Hawksworth works for Andy Hagans Link Building ( http://www.andyhagans.com ) as a link popularity building campaign manager.

How to build an energy-efficient home

There are just a few important things to know and to remember, when building an energy-efficient home. These are; insulation, air intrusion, thermal mass, and that windows and holes in the wall of the house lose about the same amount of energy.Insulation is a means of capturing dead air and causing it to slow the exchange of hot energy toward a cold space. Most builders use fiberglass insulation. Personally, I prefer to use blown cellulose insulation. In America, we major the value of insulation, by giving it an R-factor. The R-factor of insulation is a reference for the ability of the insulation to slow heat transfer and to the R stands for resistance factor. The R-factor is only part of the story. Insulation can have a high R factor, but if air moves through it is almost useless. One of the things we do recently, in home construction, is to use Tyvek, a thin, breathable plastic membrane that stops the wind. In modern construction; we customarily have from the outside killing in; siding, Tyvek, insulation, and drywall. Customarily this results in what we call and R-30 wall.In other countries they talk about a U-factor. The U stands for use factor. And this use factor is merely a combination of an R factor, and an ability to withstand air intrusion. Therefore, the use factor is actually more useful than strictly the R factor. For instance, a concrete wall, has a low R factor and a high U factor if the logs are made to fit tightly together. A concrete home has a low resistance factor, because concrete transmits thermal energy easily. To properly insulate a concrete wall, one should insulate the outside of the wall. And this brings us to thermal mass.Windows are a great energy waster. Each pane of glass has a resistance factor of less than one. A thermopane window has a resistance factor of about two or three including the airspace. The more windows a home has the more expensive it is to heat. Triple pane windows have a resistance factor of about five. A drapery fully covering a window will increase the resistance factor to about 20. Therefore drawn draperies will greatly increase the insulating ability of a home.Thermal mass is simply the amount of weight that reaches a certain temperature and wants to stay at that temperature. For instance, I home with a brick floor, and lots of books and heavy furniture, has a lots of thermal mass. Once a home with lots of thermal mass reaches a comfortable temperature it tends to stay that temperature for a long time, even after they heat or air-conditioning stops. Offices tend to have high thermal mass. It takes a lot of energy to change the temperature of thermal mass. Thus, one should leave the thermostat at the same temperature and not move it up and down. Turning down the thermostat at night and turning it back up during the day wastes energy.Copyright 2004 by Jody Hudson, WWW.Kate-Jody.com and WWW.JodyHudson.comJody Hudson has been a realtor for 35 years in Delaware.

How To Use The Power Of Focus To Build Massive Momentum In Your Business

Getting focused on what you want to achieve and creating an action plan for making it happen are critical skills for you to master. As bestselling author Napolean Hill once said, "Every well-built house started with a definite plan in the form of blueprints." In other words, having a focused plan of action is the best way to ensure that you will reach your goals. In last week's newsletter, you were asked to answer some basic questions as part of the action exercise. Hopefully, you completed this part and wrote down which 90-day goal is most exciting to you. The rest of this article assumes that you have already set this goal. So if you haven't done that yet, please re-read the previous article called "Why Clarity Is Essential To Building Massive Momentum In Your Business" and do it right now.Now that we got that clear, let's jump right into it!Once you've determined the big goal that you want to accomplish in the next 90 days, one of the secrets to making it happen is breaking up that big goal into small, bite-size pieces. Successful entrepreneurs all across the world use this technique to bring more profits into their businesses year after year after year.In a minute, we'll cover a simple approach to create these bite-size pieces for your own goals. But let's first think about why this is so important to goal achievement.Have you ever wondered why many entrepreneurs don't achieve their goals, even though they are passionate about their business and spend long hours working every week? One reason this happens is that these business owners set a big goal they want to achieve in the next year, but they don't create a detailed action plan containing bite-size pieces. And without knowing what "bite" you can take next to move you closer to your goal, it is easy to be overwhelmed by the big goal and feel like you will never get there. As the famous Chinese proverb says, "The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."And if you haven't laid out a map for your thousand mile journey, you won't be confident in which step you should take next, right? So what is the easiest way to create your map and determine which steps you should take today, tomorrow, and the next day? Here's a simple step-by-step procedure that you can follow right now to create a list of bite-size steps for reaching your big goals:1) Write down your big 90-day goal in a notebook. This is the same big, exciting
s-t-r-e-t-c-h goal that you set for yourself in last week's newsletter.2) Break up this 90-day goal into three specific monthly goals. Ask yourself "What is the most important task or goal that I need to complete in Month One to be on track for achieving my 90-day goal?" Then ask the same question for Month Two and then again for Month Three.3) Break up each monthly goal into four specific weekly goals. Begin by looking at Month One and breaking that up into specific weekly goals, starting with this week.
Ask yourself this question:
"What is the most important task or goal that I need to complete this week to be on track to achieving my goal for Week One?"
And then ask yourself the same question for Week Two, for Week Three, and finally for Week Four.4) Look at the goal you set for Week One and break it up into a number of smaller tasks or sub-goals that you need to do in order to reach that weekly goal. The resulting list of tasks becomes your most important objectives for this week.
And when you have completed this for Week One, repeat this step again for Week Two, for Week Three, and then for Week Four. And those are the simple steps for creating a focused plan made up of small, bite-size, achievable goals. Here's an example of how this can work.Remember our friend Cindy from last week's newsletter about Clarity? Cindy is the proud owner of Cindy's Teddy Bear Company and she set a goal to gain 100 new customers
in the next 90 days. She has never accomplished this much before, so this is really an exciting, stretch goal for her.Let's go through the four steps listed above with Cindy to see how she breaks up this big, inspiring 90-day goal into bite-size pieces.1) Gain 100 new customers in the next 90 days.2) Month One: Gain 20 new customers
Month Two: Gain 40 new customers
Month Three: Gain 40 new customers
Cindy chose a smaller goal for Month One because she knows that she will be planting a lot of "new customer seeds" in Month One which can be harvested later during Month Two and Month Three.3) Week One: Identify two local area communities and two non-local communities to target. Create a draft of a marketing campaign which targets these community areas.
Week Two: Finalize the marketing campaign and launch it in the first local community.
Week Three: Follow-up on every lead and get ten new customers.
Week Four: Finish following up on leads from this first campaign and launch another campaign in one of the non-local areas. This should result in another ten new customers.(I'm sure you get the idea at this point with Cindy's example, so let's move on to Part Four of the action step formula.)4) Week One Task List (to achieve Week One goal):a) Order research report with income levels for local communities. Remember that Cindy's ideal customer is a child of an upper class family, so income demographics are important for her to know.b) Order research report with income levels across the nation.c) Choose two local and two non-local upper-income towns based on the research reports.d) Create a marketing campaign that will apply to all four of the chosen towns. And that's all there is to it! You can harness the power of focus in your business right away by creating an action plan that acts as a laser-focused step-by-step blueprint for achieving your 90-day goals.Yes, this exercise will certainly take you some time to complete, but it will save you a lot of time and money in the long run. In addition, it will increase your confidence and belief in your ability to achieve your big 90-day goals. And you will achieve them! This will become a simple, straightforward exercise once you have done it several times and you make it a consistent habit.Once you get this focused action plan written down, you will be on your way to achieving massive momentum in your business! When your plan is in place, you're ready to dive into the topic of next week's newsletter -- which is Action!Set aside some time this week to go through the action planning exercise shown above. It's very important that you break up your big goals into small, bite-size pieces. As you make this into one of your consistent habits, you will begin to realize all the big profits and time freedom that comes from creating massive momentum in your business!Matt Zembruski (aka "Mr. Momentum") is the author of this article and publisher of the Massive Momentum Now newsletter.
