When I first started out on my own, I would work with anyone who had a heartbeat and a credit card. Now I live by the red velvet rope policy of ideal clients. By defining my ideal clients increased my productivity? happiness? and I got more perfect clients by referral than I ever thought possible.I was able to eliminate the painful negative energy and time spent worrying about challenging client relationships. I went through an intense period of exhaustion and I wasn't able to accomplish the highest good for my clients. You can't possibly be productive, effective or successful if you're working with clients that are not ideal.MENTAL EXERCISE: For maximum joy, prosperity and abundance think about the human you are when you are performing optimally at your peak?when you are with all the people who inspire and energize you.
Wouldn't it be great to spend every day working with super-cool people that are both friends and clients? How Do You Choose Art for Your Home? – Interior-Decorating

How Do You Choose Art for Your Home?

You have just moved into a new home. Perhaps it's your first real home that you plan to invest time and money into decorating and styling. You are eagerly looking for ideas to help make your home comfortable and beautiful. You have just been looking through a magazine for decorating ideas and admire a gorgeous home that highlighted the owner's fantastic art collection. You realize that the bare walls in your home create an emptiness that is crying out for attention. With this sudden urge to fill them up, what are you going to choose for art?It is not hard to find art - whether you choose originals or reproductions. The variety and diversity of styles is enormous, so where do you begin in making your selection?Art should be personal. Selecting pieces that you really love should not be influenced by the color of the carpet or your couch. To really make a statement, art should be chosen based on it's own merits.Try to purchase art as you would any other piece of furnishing that you plan to have for years. You want to select pieces that you will love and appreciate for a long time - whether you keep your couch or not. When you admire artwork in a gallery or even in a fantastically decorated home you will notice that it is the art that sets the tone, not the other way around. Artwork should be featured, and not chosen to compliment it's surroundings. You will likely find that you are drawn to works that are in colors or themes that suit your home anyway. If you do like traditional decorating styles, it is quite likely that you will been drawn to more traditional styles of artwork as well. The same is true of more modern or contemporary tastes.Talking to a gallery owner or interior decorator, you may also find them able to give you suggestions on how the artwork could best be appreciated. Using picture lights to illuminate the artwork will add enormously to it's appeal as well as to the mood of a room.Your artwork will make a significant statement about you personally. It is well worth your efforts to select pieces one at a time and choose art that truly reflects you instead of filling your walls with mediocre work that you will tire of quickly. By making thoughtful choices and viewing each piece as an investment, you will always find a special place for your art in any home.John Des is a prefosseional interior designer. Choose The Perfect Baby Shower Gift-Toddler

Choose The Perfect Baby Shower Gift

The first thing you should do when trying to choose the perfect baby shower gift is consider the parents. Quite frankly, babies do not have the awareness or the ability to complain when you buy them weird stuff. But their parents do. A great baby shower gift is something the baby's parents will think is cute, funny, entertaining, or practical, and if you care about that sort of thing, something the other guests will think is neat.Baby Shower Gift Don'ts:1. Don't give stuffed animals as a shower gift. The parents will probably have already chosen one or two special "stuffies." Too many plush toys gather dust and take up space.2. Don't try to outdo the other guests at the baby shower by giving some ridiculous present. You will make people, especially the guest of honor, uncomfortable if you spend too much. Personally, I think $30-40 should be your maximum unless you are family or you are going in on a big item with others.3. Don't buy too much in the "0-3 month" size if you choose clothing as a baby shower gift. That sizing is a big lie! Your friends' baby will likely grow out of those clothes by the time he/she is two months old, if not sooner, especially if he is a boy.Baby Shower Gift Do's:1. One-piece t-shirts rule!!! Your friends will thank you if you buy a practical baby shower gift like these. These one-pieces are like a t-shirt but button down at the crotch for fast and easy diaper changes. Most babies live in these when they are around the house.2. Consider an unusual baby shower gift and think about getting a gift card especially for diapers. Who won't need diapers? Make sure you find out what type of diaper the parents would like-cloth is actually making a comeback.3. If you have a special talent for crafting, a handmade baby shower gift would be wonderful. Parents treasure the gift that someone has spent time and love creating, such as a pretty hat or blanket. Finally, remember the purpose of a baby shower gift. You want the baby's parents to know how much you care about them and their joyous new arrival. Have fun at the shower! It is amazing how many things you can learn about babies...
