Got Goals? Did You Reach Them? – Goal-Setting

Got Goals? Did You Reach Them?

Most of us have goals.Big ones, small ones. But not always do we follow through with them and that...hum?could be dangerous. You see, within a lifetime our goals may change a little or dramatically, which is fine. The problem is when you have definite goals but can't follow through with them. It's crushing. It makes you feel miserable. As if you can't accomplish anything properly. You start something but it stays unfinished. That's the deception we want to stay away from. It is a bad bad habit! Here are a few tips to start fresh!Write your goal down. I know it's simple but it works! On a calendar, on a notebook, perhaps put a reminder in your computer to pop up everyday. Write it anywhere where you will be able to see it and where it will make an impact to encourage action. Action is the step that will ultimately finish your goal. Tip one: write it downBreak it down. Smaller steps are easier and more achievable. It makes you feel better because you actually did part of your goal. Give yourself a pat on the shoulder! Tip two: smaller goals = achievable.Just do it. The action that will make your story a happy story. Not being fastidious here, just realistic. That's where most of us fail (gym membership that you never use, correspondent course that ended without you, boxes that are still unpack after 2 years of moving in ect.). This is where the bad old habit disappears; it's when the action replaces the inertia. Tip three: Just do it."Nature gave man two ends ?one to sit on and one to think with. Ever since, man's success has been dependent on the one he uses most." ?George R. Got a Headache? Painkillers Are NOT the Solution!

Got a Headache? Painkillers Are NOT the Solution!

Say you had a stressful day at work, didn't get enough sleep
the night before and as a result you've got a bad headache.
What do you do? It's easy! You take good old Tylenol or other
over-the-counter medicine. And it helps! No more headache,
the world is bright again. The next day you wake up with the headache again. This time
your headache is tolerable but dull and constant. It's a good
thing you bought that medicine yesterday. Better take it before
headache gets more painful. If you take two pills instead of one
it might even work faster. Sounds like a logical thing to do,
right?Wrong. All you did is blocked pain receptors that are involved in
transmitting signals between brain cells. That means the
headache is still there, your brain just stopped getting signals
about it. Instead of treating the cause you are treating the
symptoms. In addition wildly known over-the-counter medicine like Tylenol
and Advil can be really harmful if misused. I was shocked to
find out that only 16% of people read the label completely.
Forty four percent of people (and that's hundreds of millions)
read the label and knowingly exceed the recommended dose.
Are you one of those people? If you experience headache more than two times a day, you've
got a problem. Popping painkillers like M&M's may only lead to
rebound headaches. When you take the same medicine for the
long period of time your body becomes addicted to it. What
happens when medicine wears off? You get an even stronger
headache, which forces you to take more medicine...and more
medicine...and more medicine...It's a vicious circle.I'm not trying to tell you never to use painkillers again. They
can be really helpful sometimes, but they should not become a
part of your daily ration. One more thing. ALWAYS read a label and pay close attention.
Some over-the counter medicine even if prescribed for different
things can contain the same active ingredients simultaneously.
In that case you will exceed maximum daily dose and do your
body more harm than good. For example, Tylenol used for reducing headaches contains
acetaminophen. So does Maximum Strength TheraFlu, used for
fighting cold. If you combine those two medicines, you will most
likely overdose acetaminophen. Combined with bad diet, irregular
eating and drinking alcohol it will gradually destroy your liver.
The worst thing is that signs of liver failure on the early stage
are very similar to the common flu. Not knowing that most people
increase doses of flu medicine, killing their liver completely. And it
all starts with something as little as a tension headache and
weakened immune system. So if you are suffering already from rebound headaches the only
thing you can do is to stop taking any painkillers at all. Replace
them with natural remedies.Do you know that natural solutions often work faster and are
more effective than painkillers? There are so many ways to choose from! Hydrotherapy,
aromatherapy, acupressure, massage, yoga and so on. Most of
these methods people have been using for centuries. If they
worked for millions of people before, they are guaranteed to work
for you. Treat your headache before it even starts and you will
save tons of money on the painkillers.Arina Nikitina is the author of the best selling ebook "21 Ways to
Conquer Your Headache". Learn natural proven ways to relieve
your headache faster than you've ever thought possible. To get

Youve Got To Be Joking! – E-Books

Youve Got To Be Joking!

I don't know about you, but I get a lot of joke stuff arriving in my email. I've got one buddy in particular who hardly lets a day go by without sending something.Sometimes they're side-splittingly hilarious, and other times they just don't make the grade -- it's a question of taste I suppose.Anyway, I was cleaning up my folders in Outlook Express recently to make some space on my hard disk (I've got a whopping 20 Gb and I'm already getting low on space -- must be all those MP3's...)Well, anyway, I knew that my 'Jokes' folder was taking up a lot of memory (it's full of images, video files and so on), so I decided that a major cull was needed. As I went down the list, I had no problem deleting the turkeys, but it broke my heart to delete the jokes that could still make me laugh second time around. And then it hit me. Why not make an ebook full of all the funniest stuff? That way, I can delete them from my hard disk and pack them all neatly into a single, compressed ebook file. And, thus, the idea for "101 Hilarious Jokes To eMail Your Friends" was born.It was never my intention to actually sell this ebook, (which is why you'll find it free on the BizzyDays website). However, it was never my expectation either, that it would prove to be such a resounding success.Sure, I knew it would be popular with visitors. After all a joke collection is always a popular idea and, if it's free, well hey, all the better. The point though is, I never fully appreciated just how much additional traffic this funny little book could generate. I get at least 100 extra visitors EVERY DAY thanks to a book that I just put together to save disk space. Not bad for two hours of enjoyable 'work'.So what's the moral of the story?Well there are three of them:MORAL# 1: Free ebooks are a terrific way to promote any online business. You can read more about that in a previous article called "Are you using the 4-letter word?" which is available here: http://bizzydays.com/reprint_rights/reprint.htmMORAL# 2: People like jokes! Humor is always in demand and, yes, a lot of people are willing to pay for it.But here's a tip if you plan on selling joke ebooks -- don't make a general "101 Jokes" ebook. It would sell some copies, but not enough. A far better approach is to target SPECIFIC audiences.Instead of '101 Hilarious Jokes To eMail Your Friends' why not "101 Hilarious Jokes For Expectant Moms", "101 Hilarious Jokes For Lawyers With A Conscience" or "101 Hilarious Jokes For Dairy Farmers".Okay, I admit, that the second title wouldn't have much of a market :-) , but imagine the novelty gift idea value of the others.Okay, specialist joke books will take you longer to compile than general joke books, but think of the fun you'll have along the way.Once you've finished compiling an appropriate collection of jokes for the target market, all you've got to do is ensure that you aim your promotion at the right people and, hey presto, you're in the money!MORAL# 3: There is an infinite number of ideas for top-selling ebooks and coming up with those ideas is much easier than you may think. And, once you know how to pluck great ideas out of thin air, your success in ebook publishing is a simple matter of promoting your ebooks to the right target market.Have fun!About The AuthorMichael Hopkins is owner of BizzyDays eBook Publications.Download Brand New Original eBooks for FREE at:http://www.bizzydays.comDownload The eBook Publishing Success Package at:http://selfpublishing-ebooks.htmcontact@bizzydays.com
