Why Use an Internet Sports Book to Make Wagers? plus articles and information on Casino-Gambling

Why Use an Internet Sports Book to Make Wagers?

Although I started using online sportsbooks almost ten years ago, I still maintained contact with a couple of local books for the express purpose of getting better lines with regard to the local or favorite teams of choice in my neck of the woods, the reasoning of course was so that if I saw "Value" in going against the the local or favorite teams of choice then what better place to get the best line when going against them then in their home area? However, a not so funny thing happened when one of the locals that I was using got crushed one week three years ago and skipped town and in doing so stiffed me for $1200, since that point in time I have wagered strictly online!I have always held the believe that if you want the beat deal available then it would be foolhardy to purchase the first car that you see at the first dealership that you visit, that very same line of logical thinking should be applied to "Sports investment" and of course is the very reason why I personally use four different "outs" as a means of gaining as much of an edge as possible with regard to finding the best line on games that I am wagering on, sometimes a half of a point here or a half of a point there can make all the difference in a winning week versus a break even or losing week.It never ceases to amaze me for example how some people will be totally misers with regard to insisting that any light on in a room with no one in it is a capital crime, these same individuals always seem to be the ones not willing to take the wife and kids to a movie or out to a restaurant for lunch or dinner because they may have to fork over a few dollars on something they consider unwarranted and wasteful. However, these same individuals find nothing wrong with shacking up in a tavern all Saturday or Sunday afternoon with the boys watching the games and betting with the local bookies, don't get me wrong as I like to stop for a beer or two myself now and then, but why do I make this comparison you ask?Simple my friend, if someone as I described above was truly cost conscious and on a quest of sorts for savings and "Value", why then would anyone in their right mind make sports wagers strictly with local bookies? Aren't these local guys the ones who make you wait until the morning of the game to get their lines? Aren't these the same guys that you have to track down and fight busy signals to reach on the ole telly phone? What real "Value" can be had from a local book that basically shoves his/her line in your face and figuratively speaking says "take it or leave it pal"?Hometown gamblers using strictly local bookies are missing out on more than just the convenience of being able to place a wager on an upcoming NFL or College football game days in advance, these hometown gamblers using strictly local books are also missing out on their fair share of "Moola"----"Black gold"----"Texas Tea"....No I am not going to start singing about Jed Clampett here but instead about the sign up bonus's offered by online sportsbooks.Think about it a second, let's say that you have a $5000 starting bankroll that is dedicated to nothing but sports investing, you could deposit the whole $5000 with one sportsbook and get as much as a 20% sign up bonus for doing so, which means that you would now have a starting bankroll of $6000...that's your $5000 plus the $1000 sign up bonus, right?WRONG!! Most sportsbooks in fact have limits on the total sign up bonus for an individual that ranges anywhere from $200 to $500, if that is the case then why not divide up your initial $5000 starting bankroll four ways between four different sportsbooks and possibly get a 20% sign up bonus from each sportsbook?$5000 divided four ways would mean that if you were to deposit $1250 at each sportsbook and got a 20% signup bonus with each one, your starting bankroll with each of your four sportsbooks would then be $1250 plus a $250 sign up bonus for a total of $1500.Thus $1500 X 4 means that you now have a $6000 starting bankroll, ( that's your $5000 plus the $1000 in total sign up bonus's ), and your money is now evenly spread out over four different sportsbooks which now allows you to "Line shop".As you now see, by depositing your entire bankroll with one sportsbook you could actually cost yourself some dinero in lost sign up bonus money, an added benefit of spreading your starting bankroll over three or four different sportsbooks is derived from the fact that sportbooks require you to "Roll over" the amount in your account so many times prior to being able to withdrawl funds. For example, if the sportsbook that you are using has a five (5) time rollover rule in effect and your initial deposit was $1000.00, you would have received $200 with your initial deposit for a total of $1200 if the sign up bonus was 20%.You would now need to wager a total of $6000 or ( $1000 + $200 ) X 5 in total bets placed before you are entitled to keep the initial sign up bonus and make a withdrawl of your funds, I would however advise you to be careful and to do your homework before depositing any funds anywhere as there are probably just as many "Fly by night" operations out there as there are legitimate and reputable ones.Ask questions of others that you know who may have used the different sportsbooks and hear what they have to say, troll thru the various forums and posting boards and post messages that ask the opinions and experiences of others. The main over riding factor to the equation is that you want to have the ability to "Line shop" for the best possible odds with as many reputable sources as possible.Football Forecastor is home to the nations most prolific sports handicapper, we specialize in NFL and College Football handicapping, we take sports betting to a whole new level by treating sports wagering as an investment.Over the past 30 plus yrs, I have been on both sides of the Sports Investment Business, as a entrepreneur that ran his own business, to building and maintaining a Private Clientele base that Greatly Benefits from my Superior Handicapping expertise in the sporting arena.Football Forecastor has been an internet based sports handicapping service since 1997, we specialize in NFL and College Football handicapping and over the past eight years have maintained one of the very best winning percentages of any sports handicapping service. If you are looking for a Proven winner that churns out Consistent NFL and College football winning selections, visit up at http://www.footballforecastor.com today!

How To Make Readers Desperately and Uncontrollably Wanting To Buy Your Product

Are you looking for ways of persuading your web site visitors to buy your product or service? Or for ways of writing a sales letter so that you sell more? Then you need to understand why people buy in the first place.People buy things because they want to. Not necessarily because they need to.We don't need to buy expensive designer clothes, for instance, but we want to. Because we want to look good, and great clothes makes us look good. Why do we want to look good? In many cases, simply to attract the opposite sex. This is why so many designer clothes ads use sex to sell. It's simple, but it works. In a magazine ad ? by placing a guy in a particular designer suit next to a couple of beautiful women, the readers subconsciously thinks that by buying that suit, he too will attract beautiful women.Emotion makes you buy. Wanting to achieve something makes you buy.You need to trigger the reader's desire for your product. Not necessarily by focusing on your product, but on how his life will change when buying this product.Focus on the potential customer, not your product. You can't force people to buy. Unfortunately, some of you might say.But why force someone, when you can make them want to buy voluntarily? With much better results? Trigger their emotions so that they want to buy. Make them want your product. Feed them with emotional triggers so that they get excited about the project. Let them so the sales job.How to trigger their emotions?Tell your reader how his or her life will change after buying your product. Are you selling power shower heads? Tell them how fantastic you'll feel every morning using these heads. Describe it. Compare your power shower heads to the ordinary, cheap shower heads.Show them how the features of the product will benefit the buyer.Appeal to his or her emotions. Are you selling cars? Let the prospect sit in the car, let him drive the car. Point out all the little details, like the high quality leather that is used on the seats. (Don't say a word yet about how much this costs extra.) Paint him a picture...describe to him how wonderful it'll be to drive this car every day. Describe how the product will change his life.Make them want your product. But in order for the emotional appeals to work, you need to use logic, too. Because the prospect must justify his uncontrollable urge to buy. After the initial emotional appeal, give him all kinds of logical reassurances of why it's OK to buy. Tell him how much money he will save using your product, tell him you've reduced the price of your product so that if he likes it he'd be much better off buying straight away, tell him that you will give him additional bonuses if he buys immediately, and the best trick of all?Tell your potential customer that he can return the product to you at any time and get a full refund if he's not entirely happy about it.This is the ultimate logical appeal. If he wants your product; if you've made him want your product - the main thing holding him back is money. If you take away this risk, he's got nothing to loose.Use emotion to get your readers to desire your product by showing them how they will benefit from the product. Use logic to take away their resistance to buying. Use logic to take away all the risks.About The AuthorSteve Atlas writes regularly for the Internet Marketing Dictionary - http://www.internet-marketing-dictionary.com

Make The Most of Examples and Stories plus articles and information on Public-Speaking

Make The Most of Examples and Stories

Examples and stories can bring your presentations alive. They can transform a dull, dry subject into something which is interesting and alive. When presenters give examples, it helps explain what they are saying in a way that the audience can understand. Examples make the material you deliver less 'information' or and more 'entertainment'.If you can give your examples in the form of stories, you will be using a format that everyone can understand. We were all brought up on stories and some of the greatest influencers in history gave their messages as stories ? remember Aesop and his fables! So, to make the most of the examples you could use you need to have a strategy to include them in all of your talks. There are several ways you can do this. For instance, for each of your main points try to think of at least one example that backs up what you are saying. You may not use each example, but you should have them in mind so you can introduce them if necessary. Keep a list of these examples handy, so that when you put your final presentation together you can choose the most interesting and relevant ones.Make your examples include human beings, preferably real people. Examples that include people are much more powerful than abstract examples. If your examples include you in them, they will be much more attractive to the audience. Research shows us that audiences expect speakers to talk about their own experiences and find it immensely valuable.Try to paint vivid pictures in the mind of your audience with your examples. If your audience can mentally see what you are describing they are much more likely to remember it. Psychologists have demonstrated that much of our thinking is visually-based. Hence, if you talk in word pictures you will make it easy for your audience to understand what you are saying.Make your examples relevant to the audience. Find out in advance the kind of examples that are likely to interest them; do some audience research to help boost your examples.Choose examples that are current. Do not use examples from the distant past as they have less impact than examples set in the present.Always announce your examples with words like 'here's a story that shows what I mean'. Announcements like this will alert your audience to pay close attention.Wherever possible make your examples light or humorous. Avoid being serious or stuffy with your examples. Tell your stories in the same way as you would in a social situation, such as a dinner party or in a bar. The more natural they sound, the greater their impact.Always be on the lookout for new examples and stories that can back up your points. The more examples you have 'in stock' the more you will be able to choose one relevant to a particular audience.Graham Jones runs The Presentation Business, http://www.presentationbiz.com

Sheep Spend and Lose, Leaders Make Money plus articles and information on Internet-Marketing

Sheep Spend and Lose, Leaders Make Money

Remember that leaders spend more money on learning and growing, but they do their homework and work hard to make money.Sheep follow the herd blindly with their wallets open hoping someone else will will do their work for them. Jumping into the newest multi-level marketing program will drain your wallet and your faith in humanity. You're checking out internet marketing? Great! Just be sure to market what you're passionate about so you don't bail off the ship at the first sign of crashing waves and high winds. There will be obstacles and the way to go through them is to be putting your time, energy and money into work you're passionate about.Be smart. Don't join any program that hasn't been around and proven itself. There are a lot of programs popping up that look like you can join and make a lot of money from the "spill factor." It's a myth. I've been on the receiving end of that one and saw many others there with me. I even created a lot of spill and saw it go away a few months later.Yes, you can make money from getting "spill," but the people who really benefit are the ones CREATING the spill. Not the receivers of the spill. Like everything in life, the fruits go to those who provide the labor.Would you rather receive the benefits of being Bill Gates who created Microsoft or receive the benefits of getting welfare because you signed up for the program and chose not to work? (Which is the same as signing up for a multi-level program that you don't do any work on building yourself). Forget the money, which one is more satisfying to your soul?Nothing against these programs, as with everything, 20% of the people involved make 80% of the money. That's true in every industry and yes, some people make a lot of money, but they work their butts off to get there. They deserve the money they EARN.If you're looking for a free ride, it ain't gonna happen my friend. It takes commitment and a good work ethic to produce results no matter what you're doing.A big problem with these programs is that almost everyone who jumps in is hoping to pay some cash in the hopes of cashing out like they bought a lottery ticket.Business opportunities aren't lottery tickets. I know this flies against the lack of common sense used by the "biz op seeking herd of sheep," but it's the flat out truth. Do you know of ANY business that generated a lot of money without someone or many someone's putting in hard work? Why would you expect anything less from a home based business? It's home based, but it's still a business. It's no less legitimate than a non-home-based business, the only difference is that you get a lot more money and freedom...once it's built. You have to build it. It doesn't build itself for you. And you have to do research on the business to make sure it's not a scam before you put down your cash or give up your credit card number. Can you make money while you sleep? Definitely. Do you have to put in work and build a foundation, a reputation and...a business first? Definitely. Can you buy into some new program, advertise it for a week or two to see how it does and make a lot of money? Definitely not. Tire kickers don't make money with any business. So what should you do? I invite you to look inside yourself, maybe look at what turned you on as a child and make money with something related to that. What did the acorn inside you do with all the free time you had as a child? Did you write, race, build, help others? Do what works for your soul.I understand the pull to want to make money easily. I was pulled into that trap many times before I figured out that I had to do what felt more like play to me than work. Then I had to make a commitment to succeed and do everything possible to make it happen. When you see a herd of sheep racing toward the "next big thing" exercise caution, slowly head in the other direction and don't try it out until you've given it a year to prove that it'll still be around. Otherwise your time, effort and money will have ran out to pasture with all the other sheep.Instead, study leaders in the field you're interested in, copy what works for them (using your own unique style), and build a foundation that will get you to the bank with the most money. As our friend the tortoise showed us in his race against the hare, slow and steady wins the race every time.About The AuthorSopan Greene, M.A. is a marketing & life coach & editor of the Net Profits newsletter.
Accusations of spam can be so harmful to your business that every effort should be made to prevent it.However, simply requesting a surfer to enter an e-mail address into an online form on your website is not a guarantee of not being accused of spam. Here's what could happenOne of your competitors could visit your website and enter the name of a well-known anti-spammer. When your autoresponder sends out the latest copy of your newsletter or mini-course to this person, he will become very angry. It is no good protesting your innocence. Since he didn't ask to subscribe to your newsletter, he will claim that you are spamming him. While you are arguing your case with your Web host, your competitor will be taking your profits! Here's how Double Opt-In worksWhen a subscriber signs up for your newsletter online, he or she receives a confirmation e-mail to which they must respond if they are to be added to your list. The confirmation usually involves simply clicking a link or hitting the reply-to button.Taking these precautions can prevent a lot of trouble and ensure that your opt-in subscribers really want your information.

Humming Birds Make Wonderful Pets

Humming birds are wonderful birds that are smart, playful, and easy to take care. Many new bird owners are surprised by the intelligence that many birds show. They are also very playful. Make sure you do research on all of the different types of birds. Some types of humming birds are more expensive and require more care than do others.Fortunately, most humming birds require only a little care. If your bird will be alone for most the day, consider buying two birds, so they can keep each other company. Also, bird toys will help pass the time. Birds have advantages over other pets in that they require only a little space for their cage, will never have trouble with ticks or fleas, and will never cut or scratch anybody. How to take care of your Humming Birds.Humming birds require a few basic supplies. The most important is the bird cage. Make sure that your bird cage is large enough for your humming bird to move freely around. No humming bird will be happy if it always cramped. Also, make sure to buy healthy bird food. Be aware that some types of bird food are made for only certain birds. If you are unsure of what type of bird food is right for your humming bird, contact your veterinarian.Although humming birds are usually resistant to diseases, they do sometimes become ill. If you notice that a humming bird is ill, contact your veterinarian immediately. Also, quarantine it from any other humming birds you, to prevent the spread of the disease. If you take proper care of your humming bird, it will be a friend of yours for years to come.About The AuthorMike Yeager, Publisher - http://www.a1-vacations-4u.com/mjy610@hotmail.com

Ways to Improve and Make Money from Your Newsletter

Our last three newsletters have covered the hot topic of email newsletters and their importance: Keeping Your Customers Informed, How to Build Your Subscriber List, and How To Write Your Newsletter. If you're new to our newsletter or have missed out on any of these editions, to view the complete series see the link at the end of this article. So having accepted the importance of producing an email newsletter, you've begun to establish your subscriber list and have started writing, or gathering content for it, how are you going to improve and make money from your publication? This month we are going to tackle Ways to Improve and Make Money from your Newsletter.Getting Your Newsletter DeliveredThe first issue is to make sure that your subscribers are opening your newsletters. It may sound obvious, they've subscribed to receive this free but valuable information of course they'll open and read it, right? Wrong! There's a whole host of delivery issues that can stop them. This can be a particular problem if you are using an html template style email as opposed to a plain text version. You may need to educate your readers about the need to add trusted senders to their address books as it is a fact that many email programmes and email address providers wont display the html content of emails sent by sources not in the recipients address book. Some won't even include the html by default even if you are in their address book! Unless your subscribers have added you to their address book, there's a good chance they won't see your HTML graphics and if your important text is contained within a graphic, they may therefore not see any part of it.So what should you do?Well, you have a few options:

Website Marketing: 10 Smart Tactics To Make Your Online Testimonials More Credible

You know that using testimonials can help persuade
your website visitors to buy from you. Here are 10 website marketing tactics to make
the testimonials more believable and effective:1. PICTURES
Ask people if they would e-mail a picture with their
testimonial. If they don't have one scanned you could
have them send their picture by mail and you could
scan it. This technique will give your testimonials more
credibility.2. ELECTRONIC SIGNATURES
Most online testimonials you see have text signatures.
You could have people mail their written signature,
scan it, and upload it with their testimonial. People
will feel the testimonial is more official.3. ONLINE AUDIO
You could record people's testimonials with a mini tape
recorder over the phone, on your answering machine,
or voice mail. Then you could convert the recording
into a online audio file and upload it to your web site.
You can find more information about converting audio
recording's by typing "real audio" at a search engine.4. POSTCARDS
Have people mail you their testimonial on a postcard,
scan it and upload it to your web site. This will give
people proof that the testimonial isn't fake because
it will have a post mark on it.5. PROFILES
Ask people to include a profile of themselves with their
testimonial. You could just have them answer some
questions like age, occupation, hobbies, favorite quote,
etc. This will make your testimonials more entertaining
to read.6. HAND WRITTEN LETTERS
This is similar to the "electronic signature" tip. Scan
and upload the entire written testimonial or letter to
your web site. This will give your testimonials a feel
of realism.7. RECORDINGS
You could record peoples testimonials over the phone
with a mini tape recorder. Then, take the recording
and record it to an answering machine or voice mail
system. Under each one, include a phone number they
can call to hear the actual testimonial.8. E-MAIL MESSAGES
When you get e-mail testimonials, publish the entire
e-mail message instead of just the contents. It will be
more believable because it will include the date, time,
subject, who it's from and who it's to.9. CONTACT INFORMATION
When you get testimonials from people, ask them if
you could include their contact information under the
testimonial. This will allow potential customers to ask
your current customers questions about your product
or service before they buy. Usually, they will trust
them more than you.10. ONLINE VIDEO
If some of the people who give you testimonials have
a camcorder, ask them to record their testimonial on
video and send it to you. Then you could convert the
video to an online video file and upload it to your site.
You can find more information about converting audio
recording's by typing "real video" at a search engine.May these website marketing secrets help you to make
a lot of money and succeed.Warmly,I-key Benney, CEOI-key, a Millionaire CEO from New York City is the creator of "Mscsrrr: Millionaire Secret Cash System", (currency trading) program, which has helped thousands of ordinary people from all over the world to attain financial security and shining success during the past 2 yrs.Mscsrrr Millionaire Secret Cash System helps you to generate $1,500+/Week for life, from home or office, part time or full time.

7 Ways You Can Make a Huge Impression With Your Ezine Welcome Message

Many times I receive a Welcome Message from someone after I subscribe to their ezine that leaves me wondering what I just jumped into. A welcome message is one of your first contacts with your subscriber, and it should say something that sets you apart from everyone else right at the get-go. It is, after all, one of your first impressions with prospective customers ? and first impressions absolutely do count on the internet. Not only is your welcome message a natural opportunity for you to connect with your subscribers, it's also your chance to make sure they remember you with positive anticipation so that they will be eager to open up your next message when it arrives. Here are my Top Seven tips for what goes into making a great Welcome Message (and some suggestions on what to avoid).1.	Be positive and upbeat. This communicates a winning attitude. So many of the welcome messages I have received were as dry and matter-of-fact as a stale piece of bread. Your welcome message should convey an element of excitement and passion about the topics covered in your ezine, as well as your eagerness to serve the needs of your subscribers. You should also give them a heads-up about who you are and what they can expect from you in the future.2.	Show them what they can expect from your ezine. Setting their expectations is one of the most important things you can do right from the start, and when done in a clearly defined manner will save you from many complaints later on. If you show them up front what you intend to deliver, you will remove any cause for disappointment later on. Say something like: 'You can expect one or more of the following features in every issue of my ezine' ? and then go on to list some of the recurring topics you plan to address, with some brief comments about why those topics are so important. Better yet ? give them a link to a sample edition or your archives so they can discover for themselves what to expect. Don't just explain, demonstrate to your subscribers why your ezine is uniquely qualified to be their best resource in your niche.3.	Whet their appetite. Doing this creates an element of suspense (which is something you definitely want to do?). Have you ever said to somebody, "I know something you don't know"? Ever notice how some people simply can't wait to find out whatever it is you know? Well, this technique has a similar effect by creating a sense of positive anticipation for what is to come in future editions of your ezine, or future projects you have planned for your subscribers. You can create a sense of anticipation by saying something like: 'In the next issue I will reveal a new product that no one else in this industry knows about, and it will save you literally hours of time every month in your business.' Doing this frequently gives your readers a solid reason to want to check out the next issue of your ezine ? just make sure that what you finally have to say was worth the wait. Be sure to tell them when the next issue will be arriving in their in box.4.	Identify your ezine in the subject line. The subject line should always identify you or your ezine as the source of the message. Doing this communicates an element of consistency, and makes it easier for them to identify and file your messages now and for future reference. Many times I see a subject line that simply says "Thank You for subscribing". With the volume of email I get every day, I have no clue where this message is coming from. For all I know, it could be spam. You should clearly identify the origin of the message, and personalize it. For example:"KK ezine Welcomes Katie: It's Great to Have You Onboard!"You should also make sure the subject line begins with the same text every time, so your subscribers can easily identify you when they see your email and reference or archive your ezine in the future. For example:"KK issue 102 for Katie: Helping Your Customers With Search Engines"Is a much more searchable title than simply?"Helping Your Customers With Search Engines"This message could have originated from almost anyone. You want your your subscribers to know that it came from you. This is also important for another reason: If your welcome message includes valuable information and the recipient needs to get at it quickly a few weeks from now, all he needs to do is conduct a search for the term "KK" and he's got his finger on ALL your messages in a matter of seconds.5.	Provide some valuable information or offer a free gift. Doing this communicates your willingness to begin meeting their needs immediately. Right from the very start, you can begin giving your subscribers what they are looking for. This means that you must have a clear and accurate understanding of the needs in their niche. Make sure your welcome message provides them with a link to a free and valuable ebook, report, or article that will be of interest to or will solve a problem common to them. Be sure to include a set of clear and concise 'how to' instructions for accessing or using whatever you've given them.6.	Remind them why they are receiving this message from you. Doing this communicates that you are attempting to be considerate. Believe it or not, some people may not remember that they subscribed to your ezine (crushing, I know?). Or, someone else may have subscribed using their email address. In any case, it's always wise to include a comment something like this in your opening remarks:"Hello Katie, this is Kevin Wirth, and I'd like to extend a warm welcome to you for subscribing to 'Kevs-Korner' ezine. This is just a reminder that you or someone using your email address subscribed to Kevs-Korner from my web site at http://www.kevs-korner.com or at one of my other web sites. If you did NOT subscribe, you can choose to unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the link at the end of this message."7.	Ask them what they want to hear about from you. Doing this communicates that you are truly focused on their needs, not yours. And this is one of the most powerful things you can communicate to your subscribers, because they want to know what's in it for them when they sign up to receive your ezine. One ezine editor recently included this comment in the welcome message he sent to me:"If there was one thing you KNEW you could COUNT on reading (or discovering) in every issue of my newsletter, something that would cause you to NEVER miss reading it, what would that one thing be?"This is a great way to let your readers know you care about what matters to them, and it opens the door for them to give you their all-important feedback. Taking this approach is an excellent way to help ensure that you are providing information your subscribers expect or want to see.Kevin Wirth is the owner of KEVS-KORNER ezine, a free online newsletter offering articles, tips, resources, and insight on over 150 different marketing tactics. He is bringing together a growing community where you can work with others to create and market products online.
How To Actually Make Money In Network Marketing plus articles and information on Internet-Marketing

How To Actually Make Money In Network Marketing

Most people that I know who are, or have been in network
marketing, never seem to make a dime! Others (myself
included) make a small fortune. If you're not doing VERY
well with your business, and you're honestly putting in
the effort, let me explain to you how to turn things around!First of all, you need to make sure that you have the right
product. That's the biggest mistake I see those who're
failing make. At the same time, I see many marketing the
same products that I do, not having the same success. So
that's only one piece of the puzzle. Still, it's a very
important piece of the puzzle. The product must be:- A product that you can't buy cheaper at the local Wal-Mart!
If your potential customers could get the product cheaper
locally, you'll have a hard time marketing it to people
who, at least subconsciously, have to believe that they're
being ripped off. To honestly evaluate "the true value"
of the product you also need to separate the product from
the "biz-op" end of it. The product has to actually be worth
the asking price even if it didn't offer resellers or
representatives a chance to profit from selling it.- A product category that a large group of people are already
buying. Having to educate people that they need your product
is an uphill... and often losing... battle. Why not offer
them something they're already using.- A consumable product. One-time sales mean you are
constantly searching for new customers. It's sooooo much
easier to market something that they will love, use up, and
keep getting more of from you. Built-in residual income simply
can't be beat. Make the sale once... do the work once, and
then earn commissions for a very long time.Let me give you a quick example of such a product. Practically
everyone over 6-years-old in America, and in many countries,
send greeting cards. They send them for holidays, birthdays,
graduations, the birth of a child, wedding, etc. Some people
send as many as 70 cards a year... my wife probably falls
into that category. My wife and many others send tons of cards costing up to $5
each. Actually, it's more correct to say that she now sends
cards on all of these occasions for less than $1 each. No,
those are NOT e-cards, and that price includes postage. She
sends them through a network marketing company that does
print on demand cards, and allows her to upload her address
book into an online database, and then reminds her of when
it's time to send birthday cards, etc. This product also
has wide appeal to professionals such as car dealers, bankers,
realtors, lawyers, etc., because the system allows them to
send entire campaigns of pre-scheduled sequences of
personalize cards. It's very powerful. That is just one example, one I happen to really like, of
a network marketing business where you don't have to create
demand, or search for customers. They're just waiting for
you to show them a product that will actually save them
money. Since these cards are fully personalized, don't
require you to even leave your house, and can be sent in a
few seconds... all for under a dollar, I doubt that even
Wal-Mart can compete. It's a no-brainer! Take a look at:
http://www.makeloyalcustomers.com/willieYou can even request a sample account be set up so that
you can take the system for a test drive. The "try before
you buy model" is time tested and PROVEN to work! The only drawback to the card system is that they don't
accept distributors outside the U.S. and its territories.
Customers can be from anywhere though. Now, aside from the product, you need:- A proven company. The management needs to know what
it's doing, and that only comes from experience in managing
a similar business. It simply doesn't make sense to risk
your time and other resources on inexperienced management.- A well-designed website. This is a BIG drawback for
many network marketing companies I see. Their site
leaves you guessing "What in the world is this site about!"
Most visitors that you manage to attract to such as site
will simply leave, and in the process leave you frustrated
with your lack of success.- A compensation plan that doesn't require a Ph.D. to
understand. For some reason, most network marketing
companies choose to express their compensation plans
in terms only someone "high on crack cocaine" could begin
to comprehend. The easier it is for someone to understand
the compensation plan, the better. After all, your
prospects are coming into it for the money, so they must
be able to understand how, and how much, they'll get paid.- A belief in the product strong enough that you
can honestly recommend it. All of our communications
have a "tone" to them... even our written communications.
We humans pick up on subtleties in communication, and
we ARE able to tell when someone doesn't really
believe what they're saying to us. We get that feeling
that something "isn't quite right." At the same time,
when someone shares information with you about a product
that they're totally "ga-ga" over, you pick up on that
too.The business also needs to require some initial investment.
Having studied hundreds of different companies, and different
business models, I expect to make an investment to get into a
good network marketing program. You need to attract serious
business people, and programs that you can get into
for absolutely nothing generally only attract those who
will never upgrade, never do anything to really promote
the business, and expect you to do everything for them.A nominal fee for the starter kit serves to weed out
those who would waste a lot of your time, and allows
you to spend time working with those willing to invest in
actually building a business. The reality is that there's
no business, that I know of, that you can get into without
some type of investment!Another essential is training for team members. You MUST
have a duplicable system that anyone can plug into. It
can't be only suitable for certain personality types.
Any new person must be able to follow the step-by-step
training, and because of the system in place, achieve
the same results. The training needs to be available
on webpages, in printable form, and in audio form, so
that team members can digest it in whatever form they
learn best in. Live training events... or perhaps webinars
need to also be available.Far too many people fail in network marketing simply
because they can't do what the top producers are
doing. When that happens, it's because the top producers
are often "lone wolves" off doing their own thing
outside of the system. What that does is allow the lone
wolf to bring in a lot of people who can't do what
they're doing. That formula simply can't work long-term.One final factor that differentiates the successful
from the unsuccessful network marketer... the successful
network marketer only recruits the right people. They
interview prospects to determine why they want to get
into the business in the first place. If the prospect
doesn't have compelling, emotional reason for wanting
to get into the business, top producers don't waste
their time recruiting them. That takes a lot of
discipline, but it's the only way to build an
organization that will be successful long-term. Bringing
in the wrong people... people who won't work, and want
you to do everything for them, only leads to disappointments
for everyone involved.I've just shared with you the key to actually making lots
of money in network marketing. It's all really just
common sense, but common sense that far too few people
seem to be applying. Think about what was just shared
with you above. Then ask if you're doing it right. If not,
making a few corrections will dramatically improve your
results.Willie Crawford is a corporate president, published author,
seminar speaker and host, tele-seminar speaker and host,
retired military officer, karate black belt, Master Network
Marketing Trainer, and lifetime student of marketing. He shows
people how to actually generate substantial income on-line
using very simple, easily modeled systems. An example of
such a system that you can study and duplicate is at:
