Theres No Negative In My Program – Part 1 – Positive-Attitude

Theres No Negative In My Program - Part 1

Imagine the what you could achieve if:You were 100 % focused on your goalEliminated all self -doubtBelieved it were impossible to fail. Are there really individuals who think like this? You bet!I saw a story the other night about two modern day cowboys.Their real life experiences couldn't have been more amazing if they were written by a Hollywood screen writer. The next time I'm tempted to "suck my thumb" and have a "pity party" I'll think of these amazing men.The young men are brothers and champion rodeo stars. But one day their lives were changed by an incredible twist of fate. The private plane they were flying in ran out of gas. The pilot couldn't find anywhere to land safely and they crashed.Everyone on board had a broken back except one of the brothers.Battered and bruised he got out of the plane. Looking at the wreckage he realized the plane was about to catch fire and all the passengers inside were trapped.Without hesitation he forgot about his own injuries, ignored the personal risk to his life and set his mind onthe goal of saving the other passengers including his brother. He had:Focused on his goalLeft no room for failureTook immediate actionThe interviewer said to the young man, "You must really feel like a hero?"Stoically he replied, "No, I knew what I had to to do. I don't think of myself as a hero."Amazing! No trash talk, no in your face, just a modest young man focused on what needed to be done.If you think he's amazing, wait until you hear about his brother.Wishing You Success,About The AuthorCopyright

5 Tips on Turning a Negative into a Positive – Positive-Attitude

5 Tips on Turning a Negative into a Positive

I thought this was fitting sense I just experienced a huge negative in my life and choose to focus on the positive in the situation. For instance, when I was unable to sign into this program to get to my list of subscribers, I could have taken it in the real negative manner and given up. But instead, I choose to see the positive. And, because I choose to see the positive, I was able to think clearer and was able to enter into my subscription base on another level. But, because of this
negative experience, I have decided to take it as a sign for me to move on to something better, where I have more control over my newsletter. So, I've decided to share 5 tips that will help you focus on the positive in a negative situation.Tip #1. Don't look for the negative when it isn't present. A lot of us always enter a situation "looking" for the negative. Woman--this is for you. Ever entered into a relationship with the belief that "all men are dogs?" So, you half expect your partner/spouse to cheat on you because you have the belief, that all men are dogs. Even though there is no evidence of him cheating, you search his pockets for phone numbers, follow him in an unmarked cars to see what he is doing when he claims to
be out with "the boyz."Or, you might hear there is going to be lay-offs on your job. You automatically believe that you are on the list of "pink slips." You spend your day, watching your boss out the corner of your eye. S/he goes behind closed doors and you are convinced they are plotting to get rid of you.Or, you walk in a room of your "friends" and they stop talking. You automatically assume they were talking about you, because why else would they stop talking.STOP! Don't look for the negative when it isn't a definite fact, because when you seek the negative, you often find it more than not.Tip #2. Look for the positive. No matter what the situation is, there is always a negative and a positive side of it. Sometimes, the positive may not be easy to see right off the bat, but if you look deep enough it is there.Let's say, for instance, you are terminated from your job. At first glance, there may not be anything positive you can see in this. But, was this job the best job you've ever had. Was this job "your purposeful career?" Most likely not. Because, generally, when you are working on a career that supports your purpose, you will be so good at it, that you will never be terminated. So, since the job wasn't "the be all to end all" look on the positive side. This is an opportunity for you to find your purpose, an opportunity to make more money, a job closer to your home, a job that gets you excited. Now, due to your termination from that other job, you have your days free to spend time focused on creating the best life of your life.Tip #3. Stop negative thoughts in their tracks. Whenever you hear yourself "thinking" a negative thought--STOP and replace it with a positive thought. Instead of saying to yourself, "I'm no good at this." Stop yourself and say, "I am getting better, each and every day."Tip #4. Change the company you keep. If you find that most of your friends are negative people, find new friends. Birds of a feather flock together. So, if, right now, you are a negative person, chances are most of your friends will be negative too. If you find most of your conversations are gossiping about others, kicking other people's back's in, looking and discussing the negative about every subject, not sharing
in the happiness and good fortune of others, then change your friends.Have you ever noticed that when you hear of someone that you know who is doing good, you automatically look for the negative? "Girl, did you hear that so-and-so just bought a million dollar home out there in Short Hills?" "Oh, yeah, what does her husband do? He's probably a drug dealer or something?" Or if you hear that so-and-so got a promotion and is now
making $350,000 a year. The first thing you say is, "I know she slept her way to the top. She was as dumb as a box of rocks when we were in school." Then, you are a negative person and need to find new friends. Because if you and your friends are positive people, these thoughts would never come up in your conversations.Tip #5. Pray. Pray to God to remove the negative thinking from your life. Pray that you always see the positive in every situation. Pray that you become more positive each and every day. Then, thank God, in advance, for taking away your negative thinking. Thank Him for the positive that is entering into your life. Thank God for the flow of posiitive things that is happening for you. Thank God for the goodness and positive things that happen to others as well. Now, make the decision to be a positive person and work at it each and every day, until it becomes so much of a habit, that you won't even have to think about it again.Dawn Fields is a motivational speaker, author and life coach who teaches about discovering your life's purpose and turning it into a lucrative career or business. How to Stay Positive in a Negative World – Positive-Attitude

How to Stay Positive in a Negative World

Gail's StoryGail is a friend of mine and she was relating to me for the hundredth time about the situation her brother was in. Gary is a nice enough guy. He's hardworking, honest and a good father. His only flaw is that he is extremely negative. After a five minute conversation with him, you feel like you've been hit by a bus. He has the knack of sapping up your energy due to his negativity. It's interesting how Gary's life has turned out. He has owned a number of businesses and none of them have been successful. He constantly gets sick and so do his two children. He's been married twice and is nearly ready to tie the knot again. What he doesn't realise is that he's the problem and that it doesn't matter how many times he gets married, his attitude will follow him and continue to create challenges in his life until he works on himself.Gary blames all his woes on everyone and everything else except himself. He also has a couple of very negative friends whom he loves being around which doesn't help him whatsoever as they all commiserate with each other. As the saying goes 'misery loves company'.Gary has never done any personal development and when you bring that up with him he always scoffs at the idea believing that he doesn't need it.Gail has tried to get Gary to see the light and do some work on himself yet he refuses to listen. As I've often said to Gail, you cannot change Gary yet you can change your behaviour.Instead of listening to him moan and groan about how hard life is, perhaps it was time she told him the honest truth and offer some solutions to him at the same time. If he takes no action, then she'd be best to spend as little time as possible around him otherwise she will continue to be affected by his negative attitude.A Negative Attitude - The Reasons Many People Are PoorIn the newsletter, The Trident, written by well-known professional investor Lance Spicer ,there was an article which illustrated why many negative people are poor.Briefly, he received a letter from a lady stating that she had been sent the wrong order. His company immediately sent the correct book and a note apologising and asking that the book be returned and they would pay all costs for its return.Apparently there was still a problem so Lance decided to contact the woman himself. Here's the rest of the story?"I asked if she had received the correct book and she had. So I asked, "what's the problem?". Her response was predictable. She said she was worried that she wouldn't receive her book and that she had been ripped off before and was suspicious of us. She had decided that we would pay for everybody else's sins. I explained, "You were sent a $60 book instead of a $30 book, so you were in front".She replied, "What am I going to do with a book on investment? You have to have money to invest in the first place!" It was a reply that said it all. Unfortunately, this woman was a stereotype, I have met or spoken to people like her many times. They are often middle-aged, cranky with the world, broke and to cap it all off, have a closed mind. Why? Well, it's a bit of a mystery to me.This woman was obviously upset that she had no money, but because of her closed mind, she didn't want to learn about investing or investments. I thought "What makes people like her tick?" My conclusion was ? "negativity" .Being negative and feeling sorry for yourself is a good way of remaining poor. The one thing I have noticed about wealthy and successful people is that they have exactly the opposite attitude to this woman. They are happy, positive, think laterally, never accept failure, have great determination and an insatiable appetite for information. These people were like this before they became wealthy. They have become wealthy because of their attitude and their approach to life. You become wealthy because you think like a winner. You won't make it financially unless you have a positive attitude! www.tridentpress.com.auThe Final WordWorking on your own self development is the best investment you could ever make. It needs to be continuous. I often hear people say, I did all that stuff years ago or (and I just love this one) I'm too busy!Self development is not something you can gain in one course or one year, it is a continual journey. Stifle your growth, you'll stifle your life. However if you keep growing, you'll expand your horizons and with the knowledge you gain about yourself and implement, you can only be a better person. In my regular Event Update, a wide variety of personal and professional development seminars and workshops are advertised. One in particular that we've promoted is Chris Howard's Breakthrough to Success. We were able to secure FREE tickets for subscribers as advertised. This event was held Australiawide. Did you bother to take up this opportunity? You see if you're green you're growing, if you're ripe you're rotten. As mentioned in our last newsletter if you don't get better, you'll get worse. So what are you prepared to do to get better? The choice is yours.Have a great week,
