Bass Fishing In The Winter In The North

Bass Fishing In The Winter In The North

The next few days in Ohio are supposed to be in the 50's, so, guess what I plan on doing if the lakes thaw out? Yep, go fishing for bass.As you know the bass are not going to spend a lot of energy going after your bait, so offer them something a little larger than usual. A 10" worm comes to mind, a pig and jig or something to that effect.Where you might have this in the water for 30 seconds in the summer, now it might take 4 or 5 minutes. Work it slow.......very slow.Does this work? Well, one day it was so cold outside I never even got out of the truck, my fishing partner wanted to fish this new lake even though the wind was blowing about 20 miles an hour. Can you imagine my surprise when he came back about 10 minutes later with a bass over 5 pounds? He was working a grape colored worm very, very slow.I have fished in the winter ever since that day.Charles E. White has fished for almost 50 years for bass from California to Florida. In his lifetime, it is estimated that he has caught over 6,000 bass. His biggest bass is a 12 pound 14 ounce that hangs on his wall in his office.Charles has fished with people who have never fished for bass before and taught them how to become successful anglers and also has fished with the Pros in Florida. His new website about fishing for bass is at http://www.bassfishingweekly.com.

Feng Shui North versus South Hemisphere

Feng Shui North versus South Hemisphere

The North South Hemisphere Question:The question of whether or not the orientation of
the Lo Pan, Lo Shu should be reversed when
applied to the Southern Hemisphere has been
thrown back an forth for years so lets consider the excellent arguments put forward in Qi Concepts at the www.dragonsbreath.co.ukFeng Shui originated in China between 3000 and
5000 years ago. China is a vast country however
its placement is entirely in the Northern
hemisphere no part is closer than 18 degrees North of the
equator. There is neither authentic historical data,
nor are there any records regarding the application
of Feng Shui theory in the Southern Hemisphere.
Evidence simply does not exist, so unfortunately
we have to debate the question, postulate our
theories and make our own decision on what we
feel comfortable with. Certainly if you live close to
the equator, you need to be aware of the
difference between the geographical equator and
the magnetic equator, as I have already pointed
out in the previous section. The difference can be
quite considerable as much as 12? of latitude that's
720 nautical miles or 828 statute if you like.Isogonics Charts show the magnetic flux. It can
range from 0

Finding Vacation Rentals in North Lake Tahoe – Vacation-Rentals

Finding Vacation Rentals in North Lake Tahoe

The main difference between North and South Lake Tahoe is that most people who live on the lake year around tend to own houses on the northern end. Here you'll find housing developments of the highest quality, serene resorts, campgrounds, beautiful beaches as well as shopping and dining as good if not superior to the choices in the busier, more crowded southern end of the lake. North Lake Tahoe vacation rentals tend to favor the more family-oriented traveler, seeking peace and serenity. Because there are more permanent living facilities on the north shores, there are more houses and condos available for rent to tourists than there are on the southern shores. Furthermore, the resorts dotted throughout the area are, for the most part, more of the smaller, boutique resorts rather than the larger, bustling hotels. Because the northern shores are in California there is no gambling there. This major difference accounts for the total difference in ambiance between the two locations around the lake. There are concerts, art shows, dance recitals and other local gatherings on the north shore that are more typical of a small town while the south end is more typical of a Las Vegas atmosphere. In Lake Tahoe you'll find more emphasis on skiing in the winter and mountain play all year round. You can take the Heavenly Gondola Tram into the mountains and hike to your hearts content. Then cool off with a relaxing swim in the lake. In the summer the Renaissance Fair holds its annual merrymaking in the hills around the north shore.North Lake Tahoe is well known for its community living. Resort condominiums are springing up all over the area. They feature many of the same luxuries found in the major hotels with maid service, beautiful pools, lakeside cabanas and recreation rentals, with one exception ? you're an owner not a tourist. True, you can rent out your condominium to tourists as a source of extra income. Or you can just buy it and keep it to enjoy for the rest of your life. In North Lake Tahoe you get the best of both worlds ? the peaceful serenity of the mountains and the lake situated minutes away from the glamorous nightlife at the south shore casinos.Lake Tahoe Vacation Rentals Info provides detailed information on South and North Lake Tahoe rentals, as well as Lake Tahoe home, condo, and cabin vacation rentals.
